Cliffs of Moher: County Clare, Ireland

The Cliffs of Moher are over 390 feet tall, and the highest point of the cliffs reach up to 700 feet tall, and look over the Atlantic Ocean. The view is so clear, you are able to see all the way to the Aran Islands in Galway BAy, and the hills of Connemara. To the south of the cliffs, stands O'Brien's Tower. The tower was built by Sir Cornellious O'Brien in 1835. Rumor has it that, Sir O'Brien built the tower to impress his female suitors. The tower still stand today. The tower marks the middle of the cliffs and once at the top, you reach 656 feet tall. The Cliffs of Moher and O'Brien's Tower are very interesting tourist attractions. I suggest while in Ireland you visit the cliffs because of its breathtaking view. There is no cost to enter the Cliffs, however, parking is 6 euros per person in the car.

Travel Tips to help you out at the Cliffs:
  1. Do not park in the parking lot, if you pass the lot and continue down the hill, you will see a long road which is the best place to park.
  2. If you want to enter O'Brien's Tower, you need to pay 1 euro to be able to go to the top of the tower.
